MindEcho doesn't invent its voice — it borrows, carefully, from four clinical traditions with peer-reviewed roots. The traditions shape how the AI listens. They are not delivered here as treatment.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
The distortion vocabulary MindEcho uses — catastrophizing, mind reading, all-or-nothing thinking — comes from CBT. The AI names the pattern as a movement of the mind, never as an identity claim.
